I am trying to do a clean install of Debian on a Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop. It fails half way through the installation. I have never encountered this before when installing Linux. I have an old computer that has a Cyrix 6x86MX processor with 128mb of ram. I need to know what architecture i should choose. Would i386 work?
