Resolved Question: ARM - x86 Linux Application Compatibility?

Can I run x86 Linux native applications on ARM without recompiling or anything? It seems that I shouldn't be able to because ARM is a RISC architecture and x86 is CISC but I haven't been able to find anything stating that. Specifically ARMv6, 256 Mb RAM, CPU: 700 MHz ARM1176JZF-S core (ARM11 family), GPU: Broadcom VideoCore IV,[34] OpenGL ES 2.0, 1080p30 h.264/MPEG-4 AVC high-profile decode, Debian, Fedora or ArchLinux.
